Dr. Matt Moodie

Dr. Matt Moodie graduated from the University Of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine in 2011. He grew up on a family farm in Bradford, IL. Although his focus is primarily dairy medicine, he enjoys both large and companion animal practice. Matt lives with his wife, Jennifer, and their three children, Asher, Grace, and Zeke. They have two dogs, Wilson and Bowser. In his spare time, he enjoys hunting, fishing, sports, and caring for his growing herd of beef cattle.

Dr. Cody Blumenshine

Dr. Cody Blumenshine graduated from the University of Wyoming (Go Pokes!) with a degree in Physiology in 2014. He then attended the University of California, Davis School of Veterinary Medicine and graduated in 2018 with an emphasis in livestock medicine. Dr. Cody enjoys working with all livestock species as well as horses and camelids! Dr. Cody resides in Medford with his wife, Rachel, and their daughter, Pearl. They also have a dog, Ace, and a cat, Minou. He enjoys all things sports-related and being outdoors.

Dr. Jean Osen

Dr. Osen graduated from the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine in 1991. She has been practicing in Medford since 1991. Dr. Osen shares her home with her husband and two other loves of her life, Violet and Scarlet (Beagles). Her hobbies and interests are gardening, baking, reading and the outdoors.

Dr. Megan O'Connell

Dr. Megan O'Connell is a Medford native who graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire in 2000 with an undergraduate degree in Biology. She completed veterinary school at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2011. After a one-year internship in equine practice at Stillwater Equine in Minnesota, she switched to working only with small animals in 2012. Dr. Megan enjoys ophthalmology, preventative care, and improving the quality of life of senior pets. Her household consists of her husband Nathan, daughter Maisie, and orange cat Clyde. When free time is available, she likes to curl, horseback ride, spend time at the lake, and travel.

Dr. Marisa Dukelow

Dr. Marisa Dukelow is from southeastern Wisconsin and graduated from the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine in 2018 and has been practicing large and small animal medicine at the Medford veterinary clinic since. Her professional interests include bovine reproduction, small animal surgery, and preventive medicine. Dr. Marisa and her husband, Jon, live in Abbotsford with their long-haired German Shepherd, Sven. In her free time, she enjoys playing volleyball, bowling, taking walks around the farms, making puzzles, and anything Disney-related.

Dr. Victoria Monahan

Dr. Victoria Monahan is from western Iowa and graduated from Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2019. She has been practicing small animal medicine at the Medford Veterinary Clinic since graduation. Dr. Victoria loves the variety that veterinary medicine offers and that there is always something new to learn. Her professional interests include internal medicine, preventative care, emergency procedures, and ultrasound. Dr. Victoria and her husband Matt share their home with a border collie (Hazel), and Duck Tolling Retriever (Trout), an orange cat (Hopper), and a white cat (Yeti). In her free time, she enjoys training dogs, hiking, traveling, reading, and spending time outside.

Dr. Maggie Gardner

Dr. Maggie Gardner is originally from central New York, where she graduated from Mercy College with a degree in Pre-veterinary medicine and veterinary technology in 2017. After that, she made her way to Wisconsin and graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Veterinary Medicine in 2021. She practiced large animal medicine for two years before moving to the Medford area to practice as a mixed animal veterinarian. Her professional interests include surgery (on all species), beef cattle herd management, and preventative Medicine. She lives with her partner Ross, and their two cats Turtle and Guernsey, and daydreams of their future beef cow herd. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, home renovations, kayaking, hiking and traveling

Dr. Nick Fairbank

Dr. Nick Fairbank is originally from south eastern Connecticut. He graduated from University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2019 with a degree in Animal Science and a minor in Biology. He then attended Ohio State College of Veterinary Medicine and graduated in 2023. Dr. Nick enjoys most working with dairy cattle but also sheep, goats and camelids. Dr. Nick lives in Medford with his two maine coon cats and in his free time he enjoys going to the gym, reading, and playing Dungeons and Dragons.

Peggy Brecke

Peggy has worked as a technician, and now receptionist, for MVC since 1994. Peggy is the heart and soul of our clinic. She is originally from Merrill and has lived in Stetsonville for the past 20 years with her husband. Peggy enjoys raising and training registered horses as well as miniature donkeys.

Sara Griebel

Sara has worked at the Medford Veterinary Clinic since 2000. Originally from Illinois, Sara went to ECC. She currently lives in Ogema with her husband and two sons. Sara has several pets, including cats, dogs, horses, and beef cows! Sara enjoys time with her family and critters.

Shelly Williams

Shelly has been at MVC since 2008. She is originally from California and attended Cal-State Northridge. She has lived in Taylor County since 2002 and shares her home with two daughters, a cat, and a parrot. In her free time, she enjoys hunting, skiing, fishing, photography, and scrapbooking.

Kylee Burton

Kylee graduated from CVTC in 2022 where she earned her associates degree in Business Management. She has three dogs named Ripley, Zeus, Teddy and a blind cat named Ash all who she loves dearly. In her free time she enjoys reading, and spending time with her pets. One more thing... She smiles a lot! :)

Melissa Wiitala

Melissa has worked as a small animal technician at the Medford Veterinary Clinic since 2005. She graduated from the Horizon School of Veterinary Assistants. Originally from Westboro, she still lives there with her husband and two sons. She has a love for her labrador retrievers and her horse. In her spare time, she enjoys riding and showing her horse, spending time outdoors, and spending time with her family.

Holly Kirker

Holly started working at the Medford Veterinary Clinic in May of 2019. She grew up in Colby and currently lives in Medford with her son Charlie. Holly works at the Medford and Colby offices. She has several pets, including dogs, cats, horses, and lizards. She enjoys horseback riding, reading, chocolate, and naps. Corgis and cats are some of her favorite patients!

Emily is a Certified Veterinary Technician and has been with the Medford Veterinary clinic since 2019. She attended Globe University and graduated in 2015 with an AAS degree in Veterinary Technology. Emily worked at Blue Pearl Pet Hospital for 3 years before moving to the area with her husband in 2019. She has a love for all animals, big and small, and has a passion for providing the best health care to patients. Emily enjoys reading and spending time with her husband and best friend Bella (a Newfoundland/Lab mix). However, nothing can compare to her love of chickens and all things poultry!

Karlee is a 2022 graduate from Medford Senior High School and will attend Northcentral Technical College for their Veterinary Technician program. She has one dog, Doxie, and two cats, Bert and Lennie. Karlee's interests include curling and tennis.

Hailey Zurakowski

Hailey started working at Medford Veterinary Clinic in June of 2022. She is originally from Thorp and still resides there. In Hailey's free time she helps her parents with their beef farm, rides/trains horses, competes in barrel racing, and raises basset hounds.

Tara Schwagerl

Tara has been with Medford Veterinary Clinic since May 2023, previously being a cake decorator for 13 years. Originally from Minnesota, she now owns a hobby farm with her partner in Abbotsford that includes ducks, chickens, geese, goats and much more. She has 7 dogs and even more cats. In her spare time she crochets, hosts goat yoga and just enjoys being with her animals. Hippos, tacos and gummy worms are life.
