Medford Vet Clinic

Policies

Appointment Policy

To allow ample time for all patients and scheduled surgical procedures, we operate primarily by appointment. Emergency cases receive top priority, which is why occasional appointment delays are possible. Please realize that we make a sincere attempt to see each client on time.

Please arrive 10 minutes prior to the scheduled appointment. A late arrival of 10 minutes past original appointment time may result in cancellation.

Patient Arrival Policy

For your protection, and that of others, all dogs must be on a leash and properly controlled while on the Medford Veterinary Clinic grounds, in the waiting area or in exam rooms. All cats must be presented in an appropriate cat carrier or on a leash.

Drop-Offs

For your convenience, 'Drop-Off' appointments are available. A 'Drop-Off' means you bring your pet at the time that works best for you and leave him/her with us for a couple of hours. Usually clients are asked to bring their pet in the morning so the doctors can examine the patient in-between appointments or at the time purposely reserved for admitted patients. Once the doctor is done, we contact you to discuss your pet's condition. This discussion may include the preliminary findings, authorization to perform diagnostic tests, the results of tests performed and to give you discharge instructions specific to your pets condition.

Vaccinations

For the safety of all animals and people, we require that all cats and dogs be vaccinated against rabies.

Payment Policy

Full payment at the time of services rendered is required. For your convenience we accept Discover, Visa, MasterCard, cash and personal checks.

No Show/Cancellation

A fee may be applied in the event of a missed appointment or cancellation within 24 hours of scheduled time.
