Preventative Care Exam

Regular wellness visits are essential to detect health problems early and prevent diseases. We perform a full physical exam at every wellness visit. At each wellness visit, we will also update vaccines, perform heartworm/lyme and fecal testing, and go over heartworm prevention, deworming, and flea/tick control.
 
Pets are considered senior when they are seven years of age or older. We may recommend more frequent wellness exams at that time. It is also recommended to do periodic bloodwork so our veterinarians can monitor changes over time and identify any problems early.
